These sheets are not the 1000 thread count cotton that they claim to be. I recieved the item in a package that said 1200 thread count cotton, but when I inspected the sheets, they were not cotton at all. The sheets have a sewn-in tag that says "100% microfiber" that is covered by an adhesive sticker that says "100% cotton."

The product is a cheap, thin, light synthetic fiber, not cotton. Total waste of money and time. You will definately end up returning this product like I did.

The taupe color is definitely darker than that of the photo, but even more beautiful than expected.I expected taupe to be somewhat bland/generic of a color, but they are quite brilliant. Due to the high thread count, the sheets actually have a slight sheen.The thickness keeps them from being super soft, but they are still wonderfully comfortable. I've had them for several months, have washed repeatedly, and they are holding up great. I'm getting ready to order another set so that I'll have these around for years to come.Well worth the money!

I ordered this set specifically because it advertised a deep pocket fitted sheet, for 18" high mattresses, which is the height of my box spring and mattress. I only eyeballed the fit when I got the sheets, and washed them before I actually tried them on the bed. Mistake - the pockets are only about 15", or else the sheet shrunk in the wash. The quality of the set is wonderful, and I will probably end up keeping this because of that. I'll see how well the fitted sheet stays on the bed as is, or else I'll just tuck it under the top mattress (which I have done in the past but is annoying because I have a real deep pocket hypoallergenic fitted sheet directly on the mattress and I'd rather have another sheet that goes completely over it). So, in short - great quality sheets but make sure they fit when you get them.
